Designing the Bronco obstacle course presented unique challenges. Because the vehicle was under embargo during the process, I relied on general data like approach, break-over, and departure angles to inform the design. I also researched competitive course layouts to develop something innovative. Budget constraints added to the complexity, as the course needed to be durable, easy to deploy, repair, and update. The first debut in Chicago in 2021 was met with great fanfare, and the Bronco Drive has since delivered thousands of successful test rides, becoming a celebrated feature for enthusiasts.
